What Locked Doors Teach You
I've stood outside a lot of locked doors, some real and some not. Doors to places I wanted to sleep. Doors to people I wanted to talk to. Doors to the life I thought I should have.
Every locked door taught me something. Some taught me patience. Some taught me to knock somewhere else. Some taught me that the door wasn't meant for me, and that was okay.
The hardest lesson was that the most important door was the one inside me. Once I opened that one, the others stopped having so much power over me.
That's the heart of UNLOCKED. If you are staring at a locked door in your life right now, ask what it is trying to teach you. And then check the door inside first.
Keep going. David
